The root extracts contain 475 mg curcumin and 50 mg resveratrol per recommended daily intake.
Resveratrol, a substance usually extracted from the skin of red grapes, can also be extracted from the root of Japanese knotweed. It is in the spotlight of interest because of its antioxidant properties. Turmeric belongs to the ginger family and contains the active ingredient curcumin. Curcumin is valued in Ayurvedic medicine for its many health-promoting properties.
